Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!


This month, which is observed each year from September 15 to October 15, is a celebration of the history, cultures, and contributions of the Latinx community.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we asked our team to share some of their favorite Latinx influencers and creators.


Here’s Fohr’s list of 10 creators to follow in 2023:

Eric Sedeño

As an art director, illustrator, and content creator in NYC, Eric Sedeño is a creative force to be reckoned with. With a connected audience of 190K on Instagram and over 916K on TikTok, Sedeño connects with his audiences through humor, beauty, and creating timeless content. When he is not creating content he can be found “laughing at pictures on the internet, making music videos, and scouring the city for the best Chinese restaurant.”

Chelsea from @chelseaasoflate is an award-winning content creator located in Queens, NY. She was awarded the “Creative Fashion Influencer of the Year” from the American Influencer Awards. She is also the CEO of “Thrift or Pass” and has been featured in numerous publications from Refinery29 to Forbes.

She has a collective audience of 160K on Instagram & 133K on TikTok with whom she shares her thrift finds, hair tutorials, and creative video transitions. She not only creates content to entertain her audience but ”hope is that you leave my platform inspired - to try, to learn, to create, to see, and to experience.”

Featured in Rolling Stone’s “The 20 Most Influential Creators Right Now - 2023, Estefania, otherwise known as “Tefi”, is known for her discussions and explorations of pop-culture drama. With an audience of 1.6M on TikTok followers and 244K on Instagram, she is considered the ‘cool big sister’ online.

Aside from pop culture, Tefi really connects with her audience by being authentic and discussing topics like body image and dating. (Which is why her audience fell in love with her)

Monet McMichael, otherwise known as “The Beauty Boss,” has over 3.6M followers on TikTok and posts simple content such as outfit details, family content, and even GRWM. (get ready with me videos)

But it is her other content that dives into tough issues facing the BIPOC community that really won over her audience. She obtained her nursing degree from Rutgers in May of 2022 and just this past March, a video of her attending a SZA concert went viral. (celebrity status!) She was also featured in Rolling Stone’s The 20 Most Influential Creators Right Now - 2023”

Owners of House of Trouble - Hector & Jorge (@hjdoubletrouble) are content creators based in Miami, FL. The two have been together for over 14 years and serve as advocates for the Latin LGBTQ+ community and House of Trouble hosts those events to bring the two together.

These events, which aim to bring people together and celebrate their differences, have been a resounding success and have earned the couple a great deal of admiration from their peers.The two love to travel, spend time with their dogs, and are currently planning for their wedding.

A LA-based Afro-Latina creator with an Instagram following of over 231K & 450K on TikTok. Daviana started creating content in 2020 “to help women embrace their natural hair through product education, tutorials, and more!”

She serves as a voice of advocacy for other creators in the Afro-Latinx community through her content by educating, entertaining, and inspiring while throwing in some fashion, hair care, and lifestyle tips for her audience.
